Calvary Lutheran Church is seeking a skilled and collaborative Organist & Choir Director to help lead our congregation in vibrant, meaningful worship. This part-time position includes providing music for Sunday services and rehearsals, supporting congregational singing, and working closely with the pastor to shape worship that is rooted in the Lutheran tradition while attentive to the life of the community.
We are blessed with strong musical resources and a congregation that values music as a vital part of worship and faith formation. Qualified candidates with experience in organ performance, choral leadership, and church music ministry are encouraged to inquire.

About Our Organ
The organ at Calvary Lutheran Church is a substantial and expressive instrument built by the Shantz Organ Company of Orrville, Ohio (Opus 602, 1990). With 38 ranks, 29 stops, three manuals, and 2,145 pipes, it offers a wide and flexible tonal palette well-suited for Lutheran worship, strong congregational singing, and varied choral accompaniment. The instrument features an enclosed Swell division for dynamic contrast, clear and articulate Great and Positiv divisions flanking the chancel, and a robust Pedal division that provides depth and support. Thoughtful additions such as chimes, Zimbelstern, a 99-memory combination action, and MIDI capability make the organ both musically rich and practical for service playing, rehearsal, and special liturgical moments.
